Training Manager

The internet is experiencing a transformation – ad blindness and blocking are forcing media companies and advertisers to rethink the way they connect with consumers.  This evolution is changing the way we consume content and how we interact with brands.  Nativo is enabling this shift by developing the new technologies, data insights, and best practices that will power this next generation of media and advertising.

We invite you to join us for an exciting and rewarding experience to join as a Training Manager to facilitate and accelerate learning, and ensure swift adoption of new processes, products, knowledge or tooling by internal Nativo teams as well as hands-to-keyboard clients. Be ready to innovate, leverage existing solutions, and creatively engage an extended network of contributors, solutions and experts. Success in this role means you build a world-class L&D program to advance top talent, as well as drive platform adoption and success. Nativo’s ad tech tools and services are growing at an incredible pace. You can have a big impact in this cross-functional, collaborative role!

What you'll do:

  • Define the learning strategy to address (1) the internal employee fluency gap with respect to our products, services and business; as well as (2) common customer adoption blockers
  • Develop a robust curriculum, course materials and trainings that are functional, intuitive, informative, and consistent with sound instructional design principles for consumption by experts and novices; craft and maintain documentation
  • Develop assessments to measure knowledge gained against learning objectives
  • Facilitate instruction and organize training activities (live, video, self or via various training platforms or programs) supported by internal team members and local or remote experts
  • Maintain technical proficiency in tools and procedures relative to the needs of the business
  • Mine deep technical content to extract and simplify relevant information, focusing on “what” as well as “why,” so the target audience can meet learning objectives
  • Leverage L&D programs to address team, customer segment and individual learning needs consistent with business priorities
  • Problem solve for learning-logistics: which employees should engage with which tools, resources and the various training programs; how and when
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with department and team leads to ensure training is aligned and employees or customers complete the necessary modules.
  • Promote an effective learning atmosphere and culture with support from leadership
  • Collect learnings and best practices to refine existing Marketing and Product Marketing programs, resources and collateral

What you need:

  • SaaS or comparable technical product or platform experience and knowledge.
  • Exceptional multi-tasking and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Learning Principles: current instructional theories and principles applicable to corporate learning.   (Adult learning theories, interactive training and learning design, e-learning design principles, distance learning, instructor-led training, self-paced instruction, evaluation methods, version control and performance support systems)
  • Analysis, writing and documentation: ability to diagnose or represent training data and anecdotal feedback in meaningful ways.
  • Operational Planning & Project Management: show structured thinking, planning, and ability to execute by working through others, influencing without authority, and dealing with ambiguity.
  • Understand Learning Objectives: Describe how they relate to a role’s responsibilities and performance, as well as how they are inputs to business goals.
  • Facilitation for Technical Audiences: Facilitate instruction credibly with experienced staff, without always having to be the subject expert yourself.
  • Exceptional written and Interpersonal skills: communicate effectively and concisely with stakeholders and leaders about our programs and objectives.
  • In a simple, concise way communicate technical requirements, but also land the subsequently developed curricula successfully with target audiences.
  • Team Player: Ability to both contribute strategically to this new, cross-functional role and support strategic decisions and work extensively cross-functionally.
  • 5+ years’ experience in training and readiness operations or product management
