Job Summary: 

The Technical Product Manager - Communications Platform will be responsible to build and execute on the long term vision of the Communications platform roadmap after taking inputs from all stakeholders. This role will be expected to work cross-functionally with Front end teams, engineering, program management, QA and other teams to help deliver on that roadmap. They will be expected to use agile best practices while delivering long term scalable solutions for all stakeholders. They will be expected to create business rules that provide guardrails to ensure users do not receive excessive notifications. They will also be expected to evaluate how to enable all stakeholders to manage their notification needs in a  scalable and self-serve manner globally.

Job Expectations: 

  • Empowering stakeholders to manage all their notification needs without engineering support
  • Simplifying the Comms stack and consolidating business rules that govern all notifications
  • Creating prioritized roadmaps using a prioritization framework
  • Defining key KPI’s and metrics for the domain
  • Triaging new requests against existing priorities and define the trade-offs 
  • Expertise in best practices and standards for product delivery across cross functional teams
  • Effectively communicate, drive alignment, and successfully execute on our product development vision and roadmap
  • Oversee the vision, development, and delivery of our communications and growth platform

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

   Required:

  • Solid communication skills
  • Manage the product vision and roadmap from ideation, product requirements gathering, and delivery
  • Strong data analytics and A/B testing knowledge for consumer and platform products 
  • Strong knowledge of establishing KPIs and success metrics to drive product development teams 
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes
  • Experience effectively working with remote teams
  • Experience working in both public and startup environments
  • Experience with communication platforms and growth initiatives
  • Versatile product leader who can thrive in a dynamic environment

Equipment Knowledge: 

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred

Experience Requirements:

Generally, requires a minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of experience with product management

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree required. Technical background is preferred. MBA is a plus.
