We provide a fleet of electric, shared scooters that can be accessed via smartphone. Bird is headquartered in Venice, California and is rapidly expanding across the country and the world.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with business units across the company to help them frame and distribute employee facing updates
- Contribute to the evolution of internal communication channels
- Increase the sharing of stories across geographies by working with representatives in the remote offices to generate content that can be shared company wide
- Define and prioritize team communication needs, manage strategic initiatives, and document processes that improve employee experience at Bird
- Create and grow new initiatives that scale the impact of the People team
- Develop long-term roadmaps for communications tools and processes
What You'll Need:
- BA/BS in a relevant field
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Strong writing skills
- Strong people skills and ability to engage with all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to operate independently, work creatively, exercise a strong attention to detail, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
- Exceptional problem-solving, and communication skills
