About the Role
The ideal candidate for the role is passionate and ready to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment at the intersection of e-commerce and technology. As a Sr. Manager of Performance Marketing on Route's Growth team, you will define worldwide digital performance marketing strategies to meet growth, efficiency, and brand objectives and drive user acquisition at scale. In this critical position, you will be responsible for the management and optimization of mobile performance marketing campaigns across multiple ad networks. This role requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to work cross-functionally, growing teams, and effective communication.
What You'll Do
- Oversee all paid performance marketing spend and channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Snap, TikTok, Google, programmatic, and new channels
- Manage the investment in performance marketing to hit KPI targets and drive user growth for existing and new products
- Monitor, optimize, and report performance on campaigns across active ad networks on an ongoing basis
- Act as the digital marketing leader with cross-functional stakeholders through ongoing cross-channel performance, creative development, education, testing results, best practices, and industry insights
- Stay current on the mobile user acquisition landscape, growth trends, best practices, and competitor strategies to develop new ideas and initiatives for growth
- Develop test plans and experiment with new user acquisition initiatives, then analyze performance to identify the highest impact opportunities
- Partner with brand marketing, business operations, creative, consumer insights, data analytics, and MarTech teams to define campaign objectives, estimate, and track results, evolve creative optimizations, provide insights, and supply top-tier infrastructure
What You'll Need
- BA/BS degree in a relevant field of study, Masters is a plus
- 6-8+ years digital marketing/ user acquisition experience in the mobile app space
- Proven track record of scaling mobile growth through performance marketing
- Experience managing large scale digital budgets with effective delegation and ROI
- Expert-level understanding of the current mobile user acquisition and marketing landscape, mobile analytics, and mobile attribution
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply business strategy to data analysis and recommendations
- Experimental & “growth hacking” mindset with a relentless drive to discover innovative approaches to acquisition outside of standard industry best practices
- Self-driven and independent work ethic with a desire to forge one's own path and thrive in a fast-paced changing industry
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to sell one’s ideas and negotiate
- Ability to project plan and effectively manage multiple concurrent projects
- Expertise with Excel or Tableau, or similar analytics/visualization software is a plus
