ROLE OVERVIEW


Piñata Farms is looking for a talented social media manager that can help shape and grow our unique brand. This role will work closely with the community, editorial and product teams to ensure that our messaging is accurately implemented across our product and user services. Working from Los Angeles (open to remote for qualified candidates) you will have the opportunity to build a voice and social presence that connects with our potential user base and educates the market on a breakthrough product for short form content creation.


Responsibilities

  • Utilize social media (Tik Tok, Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, etc.) to build and manage the company brand as well as grow the user base for the product 
  • Create content that imputes brand values and makes sense in the context of the platforms the content will live on
  • Work with the strategy team and C-Suite to align brand messaging and consider all stakeholders in the marketing process
  • Work across social media and relevant digital assets to build and foster a strong community around the product
  • Adjust and build out the entire social and digital marketing strategy for the company for the short, near and long term
  • Consistently develop knowledge of new social media trends and new opportunities in social that the company can leverage to achieve goals
  • Set KPIs across the community and product conversion that are consistent with the overall goals of the company
  • Ability to work independently, remotely and creatively (you will own this position and have the freedom to try new things)

Skills

  • 3+ years’ experience in social media management preferably for a start-up or small company, as well as experience with copywriting
  • Proficient in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Premier, After Effects)
  • Ability to work in a high pressure, fast-paced production environment
  • Problem solver and critical thinker; able to receive constructive feedback in a professional manner
  • You’re very familiar with all facets of building a brand on social media platforms as well as fostering a thriving, engaged community
  • You like to own projects from start to finish and can propose creative solutions when it comes to establishing brand values and storytelling, even within budgetary constraints
  • Able to work well independently and with a team
  • Experience with social media marketing tools and third party analytics a plus
  • Passionate about pop culture and the Internet (memes, trends, etc.)
