We are a bi-coastal brand, communications and marketing agency supported by Elysian Park Ventures, the private investment arm of the LA Dodgers ownership group. Our startup clients reimagine sports for fans and athletes of all skill levels and ages via new platforms, programs and services. We are looking for a talented Social Media Coordinator to join our growing team.

As our Social Media Coordinator, you will lead the execution of social media strategies for our rapidly growing clients — setting in motion plans to tackle complex business problems for emerging brands in the sports industry. 

You’ll report to the Director of Strategy and work in collaboration with entrepreneurs, strategists, designers, and marketers to bring  social media campaigns to life. This will range from supporting the development of forward thinking and culturally relevant social media strategies, to building content calendars, to collaborating with a designer and copywriter to develop social media content. As such, you’re the type of marketer who is hands-on, creative, and analytical.

Job Description 

  • Manage social media channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube for Robin clients, including posting content and engaging with online communities 
  • Create dynamic written, graphic, and video content — with support from a designer and copywriter — that is relevant, engaging, and platform specific

  • Lead creation of content calendars with support from strategy lead  

  • Execute social media components of comprehensive PR and marketing campaigns  

  • Capture photo and video content to maximize post engagement and notoriety

  • Propose new ideas and concepts for clients social platforms

  • Analyze performance of client and competitor content and platform-specific trends to draw insights that inform future social strategy  

  • Prepare reports on social campaigns based on performance data

Desired Experience 

  • 1-3 years of experience working in social media or marketing

  • A degree in communication, marketing, or social media a plus

  • Deep knowledge and mastery of social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Linkedin, etc.)

  • Strong understanding of growing social media landscape, specific nuances of each platform, and how to capitalize on current trends for brand engagement

  • Experience working with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later, Sprinklr, or Loomly)

  • Experience analyzing and reporting on social media data

  • Experience capturing and editing video content a plus

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Positive, proactive can-do attitude; strong organizational and time management skills 

  • Strong understanding of sports landscape 

  • Passionate about sports, media and technology

  • Self-motivated team player 

  • Desire to learn, grow and be part of an innovative sports media studio 

  • Location: Los Angeles  

Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 depending on experience
