The Role:

Chef’d is looking for a Social Marketing Strategist responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of social media strategy, managing social media content, creating and executive influencer marketing program, and overseeing Celebrity Chef marketing campaigns. This role will be a key driver in executing creative, newsworthy marketing campaign strategies that resonate with target audiences while growing our social reach.

Responsibilities

  • Develop social media strategy across all platforms, manage marketing campaign ideation and execution, and partner with the Community Manager.
  • Identify and build digital influencer partnerships; effectively roll out influence marketing strategy.
  • Work cross functionally to fulfill brand asks, including: Marketing, Media/Studio, Operations, Sales/Business Dev, and Culinary teams.
  • Deliver excellent service, guidance, and opportunities to Chef’d celebrity chefs, influencers and creators.
  • Monitor analytics to develop programs that assist with audience development strategies and best practices across relevant social platforms (YT, IG, FB, Twitter, Pinterest, Linkedin, NextDoor, etc.).
  • Act as SME to keep Chef'd current on social media trends and best practices.
  • Create and execute blog network negotiations.
  • Track and report on marketing plan effectiveness and follow up with account manager to agree upon promotions.
  • Organize and manage the Chef’d PR/marketing calendar for Celebrity/Chef/Influencer partners.
  • Develop creative, newsworthy marketing campaign strategies and promotions that resonate with the target audience.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years experience in social media/digital marketing with experience building influence marketing programs.
  • A demonstrated record of success in a solutions-oriented, innovative, creative professional services environment.
  • Excellent writing skills for press releases, media alerts, case studies, and testimonials.
  • High alertness for industry trends, latest PR/social media advancements and relevant campaigns.
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence: poise, maturity and level-headedness when dealing with challenging dynamics.
  • Extremely savvy in Web research and comfortable in Google Docs and Microsoft Office.
  • Self-starter who is able to effectively handle multiple tasks and projects. 

Extra Credit For:

  • Relevant experience in eCommerce and start-up environment experience a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of digital landscape and audience development.
  • Understanding of FTC disclosure and knowledge of FTC blogger guidelines.
  • Experience identifying, recruiting, and managing large influencer/brand ambassador programs and create subsequent relationships with national consumer facing brands.
