About the Role of SEM Specialist

The SEM Specialist will be someone who is very analytical, can build a solid PPC and Youtube ads strategy and execute on it, as well as someone who has working knowledge of SEO and can help execute on the SEO strategy of our website and blog. You will have a large impact on bringing new subscribers to FightCamp through google search and youtube.

The SEM Specialist will report to the Digital Marketing Manager and they will work together to define the paid search and Youtube ads strategy, as well as monitor performance, expectations and budgets.

They will be responsible for creating and optimizing Google ads, working with our content team to create effective Youtube ads, budget allocation for Google ads and Youtube ads, as well as keyword research. They will also assist the organic content team with SEO optimization and organic keyword strategy on blog and our organic Youtube channel.

What You Will Do

• Running the Google ads account and executing on the paid strategy
• Writing the search ads and working with the content team to create effective Youtube ad content
• Monitoring and reporting on effectiveness of search, Youtube ads and SEO
• Optimizing Google ads and Youtube ads to reach a specified customer acquisition cost
• Budget allocation within the Google ads platform to optimally spend across PPC, Youtube and Display ads
• Researching keywords and analyzing performance of keywords to inform both paid and organic strategies
• Working with our organic team to assist with website SEO, blog strategy and FightCamp’s Youtube channel strategy

Requirements

• 2+ years Experience with PPC and Youtube ads
• Experience managing $50k+ / month spends on Google search + Youtube ads
• Understanding of SEO best practices, Google’s ranking factors and search engine algorithms
• Experience using marketing analytics tools (SEO and Website) like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush and Heap
• Working knowledge of other search engines (Bing, Apple App Store, etc)
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent cross-functional project management skills
• Ability to take initiative and deliver in fast-paced environments

Good To Have

• Background in boxing for fitness or as a sport
• 3+ years SEM experience for a Direct To Consumer Brand or Ecommerce store
• Strong Interest in the technologies that will shape how people workout
