About You

We’re looking for a humble, hungry, and smart Head of SEO to join our growing team. You will be a great fit if

About The Role

The Head of SEO at Single Grain is a high-performing game changer in SEO strategy and execution. You are passionate about search technology and digital marketing with a clear view of the future and an ability to develop tactics and campaigns that drive business goals. You are insatiably committed to maintaining successful relationships with your clients and your team, as a trusted advisor, leader, and mentor. Please note, this position requires you to be based in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as senior-most strategic lead on SEO client engagements, directing the effort of the team to deliver exceptional client outcomes
  • Define a future-facing search capability & offering built on an unparalleled use of technology, automation, and AI
  • Recruit, nurture, and retain a future-skilled class-leading team capable of brilliantly delivering those services
  • Break ground in the discipline as a thought leader, and ensure we practice what you preach
  • Conceive new applications that can increase our efficiency and/or be offered directly to clients in a SaaS model

Requirements

  • 5+ years of SEO experience increasing traffic and revenue
  • Highly strategic with the ability to lead, embraces the unknown and pioneers the way
  • Expertise in Google Analytics, SEMRush, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and other well known industry SEO tools
  • Excellent understanding of HTML/CSS/HTTP/Javascript
  • Proficiency in analyzing reports and data to drive strategic recommendations
  • Confidently capable of interacting with clients and C-Level executives
  • Organizational, time management, and writing/proofreading skills
