The Senior Manager, Search Engine Marketing will be responsible for owning the planning, campaign creation, optimization and management of a private search property’s SEM programs. You will be charged with growing our user base quickly and sustainably. Strong industry knowledge, demonstrated success in performance marketing, comfort with data and analysis, and willingness to drive in and execute will be key factors for success. The ideal candidate will be analytically driven, a creative thinker, and will serve as the subject-matter-expert regarding the implementation of paid search best practices to fuel program success. This position will play a critical role in growing and scaling the private search SEM efforts and be accountable for meeting traffic, revenue, ad spend and ROAS targets.


The Role You Will Have

  • Manage performance search marketing campaigns across multiple countries for Google, Yahoo and Bing and other search platforms
  • Develop and implement A/B testing strategies for keyword bidding, keyword selection, match type, ad copy, account structure, quality score optimizations, audience targeting and landing pages
  • Perform ongoing keyword research, account expansion, and overall campaign optimization
  • Work closely with creative and content teams to develop new ads based on learnings and strategy
  • Analyze campaign metrics/data and provide interpretation and suggestions for improving performance and measuring growth spends efficiency
  • Stay current with the latest digital marketing and PPC trends, SEM platform updates/policies and competitor landscape
  • Drive activity with cross-functional team members to support SEM channel initiatives
  • Develop solid business relationships with search engine partner representatives for optimal service levels and results


What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
  • 3 - 5 years of managing paid search campaigns across Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Yahoo Gemini and other search platforms
  • Deep understanding of search engine platforms, search bidding strategies, PPC campaign management, optimization tactics and SEM best practices
  • Exceptionally-detailed knowledge of search metrics, specifically multi-variant testing, LTV and ROI analysis
  • Experience managing large growth budgets with a proven success record of hitting monthly goals for spend and return
  • Creative problem solver with a balance of strategic thinking and proven execution
  • Self-starter mentality who is detailed oriented with a commitment to driving strong results
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills
