We are looking for an experienced finance professional to help drive and support the company’s rapid growth and provide necessary analytical and strategic thought leadership across the company. This position will work closely with the executive leadership team to establish and review new strategic planning and reporting initiatives and insight into business performance. Proven ability in creating and presenting slides that capture business performance and strategy for senior leaders and board members will be a critical skill set. Success in the role will require a highly collaborative, self-starter comfortable working in a fast pace environment.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze weekly, monthly and quarterly marketing campaign results including performing variance analysis (actual to / forecast), cohort and segmentation analysis, identifying risks and opportunities, and formulating recommendations for campaign and tactical optimization.
  • Work closely and cross-functionally with Marketing, Revenue, and Science and Analytics groups to assess performance against established KPIs for the Marketing Leadership Team using Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics, and Looker reporting and dashboards.
  • Provide insights by managing, analyzing and reporting on lead flow, campaigns, multi-touch attribution and marketing funnel management to determine performance, ROI and business impact of marketing activities; also includes uncovering strategic insights and optimizing tactical activities.
  • Optimize core technologies, applications, and tools that drive operational efficiencies; scale across geographies, products, solutions or business units; and create repeatable, consistent practices and processes that drive efficiency in go-to-market (GTM) activities.
  • Lead marketing efforts surrounding data management, data integrity, lead generation scoring models and account-based marketing (ABM) optimization; designing optimal approaches in leveraging technology to gain insights.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations and Revenue stakeholders to maintain alignment on lead management, underlying technical infrastructure, and complex lead life cycle projects that impact new client acquisition, cross-sell, customer retention, and expansion efforts.
  • Build and optimize reports to determine performance, ROI and business impact on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc basis; preparing executive insights to be delivered for quarterly business reviews and board reports.

Who You Are

  • 8+ years’ experience in corporate marketing and analytics
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or mathematics. MBA a plus.
  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in modeling in-depth analyses from the ground up using Excel and SQL (preferably)
  • Fantastic communication skills with ability to communicate complex analyses, data-heavy insights, and resulting recommendations in a simple, clear manner (be it verbally or in writing, including PowerPoint)
  • Proven ability as a motivated self-starter. You’re comfortable in entrepreneurial environments and with proceeding to find answers without having them
  • Marketing-related certificates or extensive experience with tools such Salesforce, Pardot, and Google Analytics
  • Bonus: have experience conducting marketing analytics for $250M+ firms and a passion for education and education technology.
