Digital Media Buyers on our Demand Generation team manage omni-channel campaigns across paid social, native, and display networks, and own optimization at every stage of the advertising funnel. They are relentlessly data-driven, while maintaining their appreciation for the creative side of advertising, and are just as involved with image selection and ad copy as they are with analytics and testing.
Where We Are
System1 is based in Los Angeles, where our Lead Gen team sits at our Marina del Rey headquarters. We have additional offices in Seattle, and our Canadian headquarters in Guelph, Ontario.
This role has the ability to work remotely in Washington, Oregon, California, Colorado, Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.
What You Can Expect on the Demand Generation Team
- Manage high-volume direct response lead gen campaigns in the personal finance and insurance verticals
- Execute high-volume ad buys across Facebook/Instagram, Taboola/Outbrain, GDN, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitter and other leading networks based on audience testing and performance data
- Operate with large budgets and autonomy in ad spend decisions
- Conduct regular A/B testing and experimentation to discover new growth avenues and audience insights
- Visualize data for analysis using Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Analytics
- Partner with product owners, and analytics and engineering teams to continuously improve advertising funnels and consumer experiences
What You Can Bring to the Team
- 2-4 years experience scaling in-house growth marketing campaigns on paid social, native, programmatic or display networks (or combination thereof)
- Proficiency with common networks like Facebook/Instagram ads, Taboola/Outbrain, and GDN - extra points if you’ve managed campaigns on Snap, TikTok, or programmatic platforms
- Experience managing monthly ad spend of $200,000 or more and optimizing for buy-side KPIs like CPA/CPL and ROAS
- Advanced data visualization skills in Excel - pivot tables, formulas, etc. - or comparable experience with Google Sheets, Google Analytics, and similar tools
- Experience targeting lead gen conversions in the personal finance or insurance vertical is preferred, but not required
