We’re looking for a SEM Manager to join our rapidly growing digital marketing team. Your blood, sweat, and tears will help us scale our SEM strategy at scale. You’ll be deep in the front lines trenches running & optimizing our SEM campaigns, testing your way through innovative search platform and product changes, & ultimately helping us level up performance of this critical channel.

Success for this role comes down to grit, strong analytical chops, incredible attention to detail, mastery of search marketing tactics, and a testing discipline to guide your hypotheses, measure/showcase your results, and change your tactics accordingly.

It’s one thing to be the paid search expert at your current company. But we’re looking for more.

What You’ll Do

  • Grow! Drive company growth and revenue directly tied to all SEM activities (expand traffic, grow leads, and increase revenue while meeting/exceeding efficiency goals).

  • Search owner. Build, manage, and optimize day-to day search campaigns. Track spend across all SEM campaigns and channels, and advise on budget allocations accordingly.

  • Find insights. It’s not enough to report on data. You need to get in to figure out the why, what levers you have to adjust, present your findings, and just go.

  • Expand our search business. You’ll have KPIs like CPL, CPC, Quality Scores, Click Thru Rate, Conversion Rate, LTV & Revenue top of mind (as well as ideas to improve). Drive weekly, monthly, quarterly optimization tactics that consistently improve

  • Optimize. Analyze campaign and funnel performance, identifying opportunities to increase conversion rate, lead volume, improve lead quality, reduce CPL & CAC, and ultimately drive up profitability tied to Bambee’s total search investment.

  • Keyword stewardship. Perform keyword research, ranking trends and keyword search volume data to effectively test and expand campaigns and keywords, build negative keyword lists and expand program accordingly.

  • Creative troubleshooter. Critical thinker who can proactively identify issues & exercise sound judgment when resolving issues (regardless of size or complexity).

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years executing, analyzing, & expanding a data-driven SEM practice (REQUIRED)

  • Google AdWords & Google Analytics experience (certifications preferred)

  • Expertise with rapidly (& responsibly) growing SEM spend (startup experience a bonus)

  • Team player and great communicator.

  • A/B Testing experience is a plus
