Ring is currently seeking a hungry and passionate Retention Marketing Manager to join our team in Santa Monica. This person will be able to utilize both their creative and analytical skill sets in this project-based role to support our Director of Marketing Operations while also being exposed to the various facets of the Marketing team.

What You'll Do

  • Own end to end retention marketing strategies, from ideation, development to execution and reporting of campaigns via appropriate marketing channels (Email, Push, Social, etc.)
  • Work cross functionally with marketing, design, product, engineering, data and customer support teams
  • Be organized and comfortable juggling many things at once
  • Define and document campaigns in marketing briefs, collaborate with creative services teams to develop creative assets, partner with email and push teams for engagement campaigns, and work with media team to secure, execute and measure performance of media placements
  • Define requirements and roadmap for CRM platforms and work with Database Marketing/Product/Tech teams to drive execution and launch of new capabilities
  • Project manage all levels of milestones, tasks, and dependencies across all relevant departments/functions when it comes to launching and sun setting campaigns
  • Partner with Analytics team to ensure that all campaigns have clearly defined success metrics which are tracked and analyzed
  • Monitor performance of in-market campaigns and regularly report on performance of past campaigns
  • Conduct ongoing A/B testing to optimize and increase the effectiveness of marketing efforts
  • Be happy stepping up to meet goals with a sense of urgency and excitement
  • Be willing and able to take on other projects as assigned
  • Be able to articulate thoughts and concepts fluidly, and a personality that quickly builds rapport and professional relationships
  • Take pride in detail, organization, and analysis

What You Are

  • A marketing with 3-4 years of retention marketing experience
  • A team player who can work side-by-side with other marketers, designers, writers, developers and analysts
  • A team player willing to take direction but also exhibit initiative when working independently
  • A marketer with a proven track record working at the strategic and tactical level to develop and execute innovative and effective campaigns
  • Experienced with working with Product and Tech teams to create optimal customer journeys and experiences
  • An advanced marketing professional with strong skills using CRM and paid marketing channels to drive engagement and retention
  • A strong analytical and problem solver with a data driven approach
