Ring is looking for an organized, hard-working, and motivated full-time Public Relations Coordinator to work alongside the Director of Communications and the rest of the Communications team. Communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and time management skills are essential to succeed in this position, as well as a strong interest in public relations, social media, and technology. 

Responsibilities

• Developing media lists for announcements and press outreach
• Securing print and online coverage for highly targeted local media outreach and pitching
• Managing product review inventory and oversee the QA and shipment of media units
• Writing press backgrounders prior to briefings
• Tracking all local press coverage and maintain documentation
• Creating and maintaining events/awards/speaking engagement calendars for CEO. Submitting Ring and key spokespeople for speaking engagements
• Researching industry trends and staying up-to-date on current events and news
• Drafting copy for media kits, websites, brochures and other marketing materials
• Contributing toward strategic positioning and messaging documents
• Supporting Director of Communications with additional tasks as needed
• Execute various administrative tasks including scheduling

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, or journalism required
• 1+ year of experience in PR (internships OK), preferably within the tech or a consuming facing brand
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive mindset and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to deliver results under tight deadlines

• Ability to think creatively and strategically
• Team player who can collaborate with coworkers and agencies at all levels
• Proficient in Google G-Suite programs 
• Demonstrate a positive, can-do, go-the-extra-mile attitude
