Role Overview
InStride is looking to formalize a Product Marketing Management function and is seeking a Sr. Manager of Product Marketing to develop and lead the charge to implement it. Specifically, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the “single-source-of-truth” for features, benefits, and value proposition(s) for the InStride product offerings. This role will support the development of target audience profiles, competitive landscape, and core message strategies that help deliver a differentiated, premium product and crafting tools that support the delivery of business strategies.

Responsibilities
- Be the central source for the who, why, what, how, when of our product for marketing, sales, and success teams
- Buyer knowledge and Insights: Gain insights on the buyer’s journey and what information is needed to drive sales, success, and marketing asset development
- User knowledge and Insights: Develop an understanding of the learner process, landmarks, and information needed to galvanize interest, drive RFI's & applications, and user experience to support program success/completion and the creation of marketing assets
- Competitive intelligence/Marketplace knowledge: Gain deep knowledge of the competition in the category, determining InStride’s relative positioning accordingly
- Deep Product knowledge expertise: Partner with the Product Management, Technology, and Academic Partner teams to distill and develop core features and benefits most relevant to defining, differentiating, and driving interest in Strategic Enterprise Education
- Support Product Manager in crafting product roadmaps and strategies
- Support Marketing and engagement peers to develop effective business development and engagement materials that communicate key value propositions to prospects
- Manage, curate, and identify needs to develop/update core messages along with “collateral” associated with our products and offerings.
- Act as the subject matter authority on InStride’s core value proposition data points both internally and to prospects and customers
- Plan the launches of net-new products and releases of existing products, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
- Partner closely with the Academic Partnerships teams to serve as their key marketing business partner
- Development of assets onboarding and showcasing the value of academic partners to customers
Ideal Profile
- 7+ years experience in a B2B strategic marketing or product marketing role. SaaS experience desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- Experience with new product feature launches, as well as simplifying the complex in a compelling and engaging way
- Hands-on experience developing a range of marketing materials, from succinct slides to one-pagers and user guides
- Ability to lead multiple initiatives with a track record for meeting key roadmap dates successfully
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and a high bar for quality
- Excited by the challenge of building a world-class business that delivers not only high revenue growth and compelling ROI, but also has a meaningful impact on society
- Exposure to the functioning of higher education institutions through direct experience or affiliation with the education industry
- Ability to facilitate and enable people to collaborate with each other
