InStride is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to translate and communicate the value of InStride offerings to the market, clearly articulating value, features and benefits. This role will define and deliver our product positioning, go to market strategies, and sales enablement resources that address buyers needs and challenges. This is a high-profile growth opportunity to partner with our senior leadership and cross-functional teams to help drive InStride’s mission and vision.

Responsibilities

  • Define the positioning and go-to-market messaging and strategies for products/solutions 
  • Gain a deep understanding of the competition in the category, determining InStride’s relative positioning accordingly
  • Develop an understanding of the buyer’s process, milestones, and information needed to drive sales and marketing asset development 
  • Develop effective sales materials that communicate key benefits and value to prospects
  • Partner with Product Management team to distill key functionality and benefits into core product marketing
  • Partner closely with Corporate Partnerships and Academic Partnerships teams to serve as their key marketing business partner for pipeline success
  • Work closely across the marketing team to develop compelling and innovative positioning and messaging for marketing campaigns

Ideal Profile

  • 5+ years experience in a strategic marketing or product marketing role in a B2B organization 
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with sales teams to assist in delivering needs for prospective client activities and driving results
  • Experience launching new products, as well as taking the complex and making it simple and compelling 
  • Hands-on experience developing a range of marketing assets, from succinct pitch decks to sales handouts
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a cross-functional environment, with a track record for and delivering high quality, timely deliverables
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and a high bar for quality 
  • Demonstrated energy and passion for building high quality product and sales enablement materials, with a can-do, “bring it on” attitude
  • Excited by the challenge of building a world-class business that delivers not only high revenue growth and compelling ROI, but also has a meaningful impact on society
  • Exposure to the functioning of higher education institutions through direct experience or affiliation with the education industry
  • Ability to facilitate and enable people to collaborate with each other
  • High EQ, comfort with ambiguity and a “no job too small” startup mentality
