As the Product Marketer of Consumer Engagement, you are responsible for driving order frequency through current and assessing future engagement levers such as promotional or membership offerings. You partner closely with CRM and technology to optimize the customer experience both on and off digital surfaces through deep rooted data and customer insights. Based on those insights, you work to prioritize tech features to enhance engagement levers and educate the right user with the right lever at the right moment to move users up the engagement ladder through thoughtful campaigns, experiments and always on assets. 

Key Responsibilities:

Inbound

  • Insights & Research: Lead research studies and dig into customer behavior to optimize the experience
  • Positioning: Define target audience and value proposition for each engagement lever
  • Frequency Optimization: Understand which lever to pull when to move users up the engagement ladder 
  • Engagement Lever Strategy: Create the roadmap for new engagement levers and refine existing ones 

Outbound

  • GTM Campaigns: Lead the full-funnel customer marketing strategy & reporting for engagement lever campaigns and benefit launches. 
  • Growth Strategies: Spearhead always on, experimental, and campaigns to drive ongoing lever performance and engagement. Manage tracking & reporting to inform future optimizations 

Drive business results:

  • Re-engagement and retention of existing customers
  • Winback and long term churn prevention
  • Engagement levers adoption and engagement 

Desired traits:

  • 5+ years of work experience preferably in a subscription based business or have experience running a membership program 
  • Entrepreneurial - self starter and can work independently with minimal oversight
  • Financial Acumen - highly skilled in building exploratory and descriptive analytics to describe business results
  • Ability to influence -  both leadership and cross functionally
  • Strong communicator - skilled in clearly contextualizing research results for the audience
  • Advocate for the customer - deep understanding for customer needs and trends 
  • Project management - ability to prioritize and focus team’s efforts on important initiatives
