The Marketing Manager, Sales Enablement will own the marketing components of sales enablement, serving as the main point of contact between the Sales and marketing teams. Reporting into the Director, Marketing & Communications, you will oversee the creation, organization, and distribution of sales materials to support Talespin’s brand and products, ensuring materials are current, on message, and distributed to the appropriate team members and channels.

In this role you will:

  • Lead the creation and deployment of sales materials, marketing content, messaging, and tools to support the sales team. This includes writing, visual design and development of strong sales materials.
  • Work with the Marketing & Communications team to develop compelling sales narratives and messaging for sales materials.
  • Manage the organization and distribution of sales materials to the internal sales team, as well as to external reseller channels and distribution partners.
  • Work with marketing department to build sales kits (decks, one sheets/sales sheets, video, product imagery, etc.) for use by channel partners.
  • Work with internal and external art and design teams to create sales materials.
  • Partner directly with Marketing & Communications Dept. to ensure sales materials are regularly updated with the latest company and product messaging and assets.
  • Initiate success of product launches by preparing and enabling the sales team to understand and sell our products.
  • Train internal and external sales teams on the proper use of Talespin sales materials, best practices, and key messaging as needed.
  • Support sales process across the sales organization, including channel sales, product sales, and industry sales verticals.
  • Own marketing relationships and collaboration with channel sales partners.
  • Stay up to date on feedback from the sales team to ensure client feedback and market trends are reflected in the Talespin sales narrative.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between the sales department and marketing & communications dept., promoting collaboration and continuity between these teams.

Education/Experience we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience preferably in a software/technology environment, with a demonstrated ability to create compelling marketing materials.
  • Passion for or understanding of virtual reality and augmented reality technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to lead teams and manage multifaceted projects.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Experience working with sales teams and 3rd party sales partners and distribution channels.
