Team Overview


As Dave’s business continues to grow, promotions continue to play an integral part in driving member acquisition, engagement and retention. This individual will be responsible for developing, executing and measuring Dave’s promotion strategies. 


This is a great, high-visibility opportunity to shape, build and grow our promotions programs by partnering with finance, data and product stakeholders. You will be an integral part of our growth journey and will concept new campaigns, come up with fresh promotions, craft channel level strategies and executional details, as well as test and iterate after launch. 


You have a strong grasp of the promotions landscape with demonstrated experience unlocking and scaling programs. With a passion for testing, you enjoy making data-driven decisions and working with creative, product, and engineering to implement strategies.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive promotional campaign & segmentation strategies across Core products and more
  • Understand user pain points and analyze data to develop roadmaps, experimentations, and campaigns
  • Develop and implement targeted promos in collaboration with product, engineering and data teams
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key metrics and results
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, Design and Strategic Finance teams to improve & execute promotion functionalities and promotion types
  • Develop holistic upsell strategies with relevant stakeholders (and Marketing Channel Managers and Creative Team) in the direct team and help execute experiments
  • Develop key metrics and framework to determine optimal promotion tactics for acquisition and engagement
  • Define annual promotions initiatives by analyzing large, complex data to develop a compelling promotional strategy and calendar
  • Work with product management to understand product roadmap and feature functionality to execute promotion strategy
  • Partner with product, CRM, and data teams to build, test and scale innovative solutions to maximize business impact
  • Develop subject matter expertise on promotion practices and trends, monitor and disseminate changes in the competitive landscape
  • Building strong relationships; establishing clear lines of communication with other team members; and using problem-solving capabilities to assure flawless program execution to meet and exceed stated objectives

What You'll Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in growth, growth marketing, and/or with focus on user monetization/promotions
  • Extensive experience in leading revenue-driving projects and A/B testing
  • Science, Economics, Marketing or related fields, preferably
  • Proven ability to leverage business and technical knowledge to effectively partner with business stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills 
  • Consistent track record of achieving high quality business, team and personal goals in a fast-paced, challenging and exciting environment
  • Exceptional project management – from planning to delivery and continued growth
  • Excellent communication skills, outstanding collaboration skills and a strong desire to learn
  • Bonus: experience in financial forecasting
