Marketing Event Specialist
The Marketing Event Specialist will play an instrumental role in planning, managing and executing all aspects of FloQast’s high-volume events program that consists of field events, webinars, tradeshows, user groups, dinners and third-party sponsorships. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, high-energy, go-getter who thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment and is passionate about event production and marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all logistics of FloQast’s webinars, events, and conferences including event scheduling, topic and content coordination, promotional materials, signage and collateral, shipping and travel;
- Act as the primary point of contact for all vendors, partners, speakers and stakeholders involved;
- Schedule and lead kickoff calls, prep meetings and debriefs;
- Assist in the development of content related to the event topic, promotional communication and presentation;
- Work closely with marketing, sales and channel teams to ensure that logistics, content and promotional details are communicated and executed accurately and on time;
- Analyze and measure the effectiveness of events and share what worked, what didn’t and what can be improved
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 2 years prior marketing experience in which assisted with tradeshow and webinar management strongly desired.
- BA/BS degree in marketing, business or a related field
- Comfortable traveling to U.S. based events and conferences approximately 8-10x/year
- Possess “startup grit;” there are always moving pieces in a startup you have to deal with ambiguity
- Excellent verbal and written communicator who is comfortable interfacing with a variety of departments, partners and customers
- Ability to manage multiple events and webinars simultaneously and stay on top of competing initiatives and multiple deadlines
- Creative and critical thinker who is constantly looking for new ways to improve our existing event formats, engage our target audience and generate new leads for FloQast
- Works well under pressure and is not easily discouraged when things don't go as planned or change; sense of humor.
- Strong attention to detail with a creative eye; Adobe and PPT experience is a big plus
- Prior experience using marketing automation tools such as Pardot, HubSpot, Marketo and webinar hosting platforms such as GoToWebinar or ON24 is preferred
