This role encompasses a breadth of marketing responsibilities that touch talent, community, experiential, email, and social, and the ideal candidate will bring to the table previous experience in any of these areas as well as an interest to learn and grow within a fast-paced team. This is an opportunity to build a robust foundation of skills as a marketer, inside a best-in-class brand and alongside a team of creative thinkers, strategic problem solvers, and savvy brand builders.

The person in this role will be tasked with supporting the marketing team in administrative as well as strategic tasks. They will exhibit excellent communication skills, demonstrate analytical thinking, possess a positive, can-do attitude, and be passionate about the Girlboss mission. A stand-out candidate will showcase and foster keen knowledge and understanding of current events, entertainment, social media, and pop culture.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate production of all emails sent to the Girlboss audience and Girlboss community, including but not limited to editorial, experiential, and brand partnership content 
  • Support Community Manager in building out Girlboss community ambassador program in key US markets
  • Support in sourcing and researching talent partners for opportunities across Girlboss initiatives including community, podcast, events, content, and branded programming
  • Assist in creating on-brand, high quality talent pitch decks for brand partnership campaigns
  • Support talent team in securing speakers and key influencer attendees at the Girlboss Rally, including speaker agreement tracking, communication and confirmation details with speakers and key influencer attendees, speaker call sheet preparation, and updating internal stakeholders with newly confirmed information
  • Monitor social media trends and support Girlboss social accounts
  • Track social posts across talent, influencer, and community advisor channels using CreatorIQ and Dash Hudson
  • Work with key internal stakeholders on updating reports and metrics for Girlboss social, email, surveys, ticket sales, and other key initiatives 
  • Build and administer surveys to Girlboss audience
  • Coordinate company gifting efforts to talent partners and community advisors including managing inventory and shipping of product
  • Take on additional special projects as needed, once mastery of initial responsibilities is exhibited

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a marketing, talent, community, public relations, or social media-based role
  • Degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related fields is preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to demonstrate big picture strategic thinking
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work cross-functionally across all teams 
  • Passion for the Girlboss brand and a strong understanding of our target demo
