Marketing Coordinator

Who you are:
Currency is seeking a dynamic Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing team in Los Angeles. You will proactively and efficiently provide support to the entire Marketing team by managing day to day marketing activities and projects.
Responsibilities:
- Plan meetings, track progress of projects and implement new marketing strategies against rapid and frequent deadlines.
- Create and maintain a repository of marketing and sales collateral, standard decks, icons, and imagery.
- Procure branded swag and event materials; maintain inventory.
- Stay abreast to industry and competitor changes and news; report on trends.
- Negotiate with vendors, track expenses and manage tech stack credentials, licenses and fees.
- Know the brand guidelines and work across departments to educate and uphold brand standards.
- Build and refine marketing collateral templates and presentations.
- Monitor online reputation, media mentions and complete award applications as needed.
- Source and evaluate brand marketing campaigns.
- Create one-sheet and sales decks.
- Be a general resource for graphic design and writing support across the marketing department.
Requirements:
- BS/BA Degree in Marketing or related field
- 1-3 years’ experience in Marketing/ Agency role
- Good understanding of marketing concepts, customer insight, and customer experience
- Graphic design (Adobe and Microsoft Suite products) strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and collaboration skills
- Ability to think creatively and come up with out-of-the-box solutions
- Highly organized and able to execute best practices in structuring an efficient work flow
- Experience executing and reporting on project plans
- Strong sense of ownership and thought-leadership
- Copywriting
- HTML basic coding
- Software knowledge: Wordpress; Excel; GA; CRM (e.g. Salesforce, other), Marketo, Photoshop (creative suite)
