Robin builds brands and products that rethink sports. We are looking for a talented Marketing Coordinator to join our team.
Robin is a bi-coastal brand, communications and marketing agency supported by Elysian Park Ventures, the private investment arm of the LA Dodgers ownership group. Our startup clients reimagine sports for fans and athletes of all skill levels and ages via new platforms, programs and services.
As our Marketing Coordinator you will ideate on and execute appropriate marketing solutions for our partners — setting in motion plans to tackle complex business problems for emerging brands across the sports industry.
You’ll report to the Director of Strategy and work in collaboration with entrepreneurs, strategists, designers, and other marketers to bring marketing strategies to life. This will range from developing lead generation campaigns to new user engagement strategies to micro-influencer activations. As such, you’re the type of marketer who is creative, analytical, and has excellent communication skills.
Job Description
Support Strategy Director with marketing strategy development and planning of high level client marketing goals
Implement brand marketing strategies in an efficient, organized, and detail-oriented manner
Conduct market research to understand competitive landscape, customer pain points, best practices across the industry, and identify notable influencers
Draft marketing copy for clients, such as emails, social media content, blog posts and more
Build, schedule, and manage email marketing campaigns for Robin’s client base
Draft, schedule and manage social media content across Robin’s client base
Track and report analytics for various campaigns and analyze data to identify new opportunities
Stay up to date with the latest industry news and trends
Desired Experience
1-3 years of experience in a marketing role at an agency, brand or property
Experience executing marketing plans with attention to detail
Experience in digital marketing strongly preferred
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience with Google AdWords, Facebook Manager, Intercom, Hubspot, or Loomly a plus
Experience working in service-oriented/client-facing environments or at a startup a plus
Strong understand of and passionate about sports
Self motivated team player
Strong ability to multi-task and handle multiple client needs and priorities at once
Positive, proactive can-do attitude; strong organizational and time management skills
Desire to learn, grow and be part of an innovative sports media studio
Salary: $45,000-$55,000 (depending on experience)
