Marketing Analyst
At Tala, we are looking for a rock star Marketing Analyst to support our growth. In this role, you will work with our local and global teams to support our marketing initiatives that drive both brand awareness and user growth. Responsibilities:
- Support the digital growth team to drive acquisition of new qualified borrowers across multiple channels like country websites, paid, SEO, SEM, affiliates, social, sms and email
- Help design, implement, test, and scale new and existing campaigns across paid marketing channels across countries where Tala operates
- Analyze the performance of new and existing paid marketing channels to optimize for channel performance
- Act as the direct interface with our various paid marketing platforms and tools, owning all administrative responsibilities including payments, reporting and analysis
- Monitor and report A/B and multivariate tests to optimize conversion and other key performance metrics
- Support the Director and Manager in Interfacing with product, engineering, design and data analytics to address all design, measurement and engineering needs related to scaling our paid marketing efforts
- Present findings and insights to the marketing team and senior management as necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a mobile B2C environment - financial services preferred.
- Experience running paid marketing efforts across various advertising platforms including Google, Facebook, Twitter, and other desktop and mobile advertising channels
- Strong strategic and analytical skills
- Ability to do basic budgeting, modeling, and performance tracking using Excel or similar environments
- Some knowledge of SQL and experience with accessing and retrieving data from online data warehouse environments
- Ability to translate data and analysis into compelling presentations and written communications
- Passion for consumer technology and startups, preferably with some prior experience at a credit-related company
