Highly strategic role in rapidly growing media startup helping with clients’ overall strategy through analysis of video advertising data

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Client Services, the Manager of Client Strategy will be expected to lead client services on several key digital streaming accounts and support the overall client services operation. You will be the account executive and own the client relationship, helping the overall strategy of the client and how they advertise, by looking at video advertising data and making recommendations based on this analysis to maximize client returns. The role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Discussing marketing/business strategy with clients with a deep understanding of their goals & KPIs

  • Leading coordination with Bliss Point media & product teams to ensure coherence in executing each clients’ individual media strategy

  • Overseeing all aspects of the client’s campaign, including creative development, media planning & execution, strategic optimization, budget assessments and acquisition analysis

  • Establishing a strong business relationship with the client with open and effective channels of communication and running client meetings and delivering weekly presentations (via phone/web and in person)

Background & Competencies

  • With 2+ years experience in a consultancy, finance, media, or startup background, you will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to troubleshoot data related issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required; this is a client-facing role that demands clarity and concision in communications
  • High level of comfort with quantitative concepts; have an ability to understand data and communicate it to a client; this is not a highly technical role, but numeracy and comfort with data is a must; some form of technical/quantitative background is a plus
  • Must possess strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • It is very important that the candidate is proficient in both Excel and PowerPoint
  • The ideal candidate will have some experience in marketing, preferably in performance marketing
  • Know at least a little bit about the TV and/or digital media environment

Compensation

Bliss Point is a startup, and we’re looking for someone who finds that exciting rather than intimidating. We’re profitable and will offer a competitive total compensation package to the right candidate, with salary potential from $70k - $90k depending on skills and experience. This role is in Santa Monica.

We are located in the heart of Santa Monica right near the 3rd Street Promenade. There are plenty of bars and restaurants, with easy access to public transportation. Our office even has a fabulous rooftop with ocean views. All employees are welcome to work in office, fully remote, or hybrid.
