Who You Are:

About The Role

The Head of Paid Media operates as a leader within the agency responsible for all paid media service delivery and performance. This is inclusive of all client onboarding, performance marketing strategy development, tactical delivery, client retention, growth, innovation, digital platform capabilities, knowledge management and reporting. You will also be responsible for management of the company’s current largest team with focuses on revenue growth, people management, innovation, and culture.

The role reports to the President and CEO and is supported by a team of Paid Media Managers, Paid Media Specialists and Paid Media Interns.

Responsibilities

  • Possess a deep understanding and strategic implementation of performance marketing
  • Serve as a strategic partner participating in Lead Team Meetings and Off-Sites to proactively identify operational issues and seek solutions for agency growth
  • Provide invested leadership and day-to-day management to the Paid Media team, instill company values, and scale employee development
  • Delegate projects/tasks accordingly while managing operational risks to ensure workload is appropriate and employee engagement remains high
  • Take ownership of the health of client accounts, maximize client retention, and satisfaction by implementing best practices and processes
  • Foster innovation and continuously monitor changes in the digital world to ensure we are always ahead of the curve in our knowledge and capabilities
  • Ensure consistent revenue growth for the Paid Media team

Requirements

  • 6+ years experience with a digital marketing agency and performance marketing
  • 3+ years experience in a leadership capacity
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Media expertise and the ability to take a holistic view of channels, attribution, and to strategize with other team members
  • Strong communicative abilities for working with upper management, direct reports, and clients
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to create and lead execution of both digital strategies and business strategies
  • Constant pursuit of growth and learning through classes, webinars, podcasts, books, and more
