Job brief

Ready, Set, Food! is on a mission to prevent childhood food allergies before they start.  We are a startup who recently completed our seed stage funding, and launched our e-commerce business in June 2018.  We’ve already experienced strong support from the medical community, with close to 100 pediatricians and allergists already promoting our product in their practices.

 

We are in need of an experienced online marketing professional to join our team as Head of Digital Marketing & Online Growth. This person will be responsible for leading digital and online sales initiatives and marketing channels including our primary channel of DTC e-commerce through our website and Amazon, and our secondary channel of B2B marketing to physicians.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own our customer journey from awareness to education to purchase through ambassadorship, utilizing our website, blogs, emails, social media, and paid ads
  • Manage all digital marketing channels to ensure effective messaging and consistency
  • Develop specific campaigns to create and maintain high levels of customer interaction
  • Measure ROI and KPIs and prepare and manage budget
  • Manage content creation for all online channels
  • Manage and improve online content, considering SEO and Google Analytics
  • Forecast sales performance trends and act proactively to increase our market segment
  • Monitor competition; provide and execute upon ideas to stand out
  • Implement strategies with a combination hands-on work & management of third parties
     

Required Experience

  • 5-7 years of proven work experience in digital marketing strategic planning/execution
  • Ability to make changes and improvements to a website and tracking systems (e.g. implementing tags, ensuring pixels are firing correctly)
  • Hands on experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics and CRM software
  • Familiarity with web design principles and best practices for B2C
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills
  • Experience with content marketing as a means to educate consumers
  • Performance marketing experience across: Search, Social, Influencers and Partners
  • Experience with A/B testing software and tag management

 

Preferred Experience

  • Using Shopify as a platform
  • Subscription B2C products
  • Online B2B marketing
  • Working with a mission-driven and/or entrepreneurially-minded organization
