Growth Marketing Manager - Social Mobile and Entertainment App

The ideal candidate for our Marketing and User Acquisition Manager position is a creative yet analytical thinker who is always looking to improve existing marketing strategies and has 2-3 years of managerial experience in mobile user acquisition for a social app. We are looking for a passionate self-starter who will oversee the strategy and execution of our growth marketing efforts that include influencer marketing, social media, strategic partnerships, digital advertising, and product/community fueled initiatives. This person must have a passion and knowledge of film + TV, it’s industry, and the dynamics of its fan community.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee current portfolio of influencers, including campaign design, contract negotiation, and execution management to drive quality app installs and engagement
- Continue development of strategic marketing partnerships with major film studios and other entertainment entities
- Help monitor and manage app analytics platforms to drive action from key learnings
- Conduct measured mobile app user acquisition through Google UAC, Apple Search, Facebook/IG, optimized for lowest CPI and CPE
- Serve as PR & media liaison – work with PR agencies and media partners to generate positive publicity to feed user acquisition
- Plan and oversee social media strategy, including seeding viral content
- Help develop in-app user progression strategy to drive key behavior and growth
- Plan and oversee guerilla marketing strategy – working with targeted groups to engage them as app champions
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience leading user acquisition efforts for a social mobile app
- Able to create a detailed full mobile app marketing plan (including budgeting) and execute on that plan
- Proven track record of “selling an idea” in-person and on the phone
- Passion + knowledge of film/TV, mobile marketing, product management/development and driving overall growth
- Great teamwork and interpersonal skills, including strong communication skills, ability to develop personal relationships, a proactive attitude, and an embedded drive for results
- Proven track record of presenting marketing plans and outlining strategic partnerships in front of high-level executives
- Self-starter who can operate with minimal oversight
- Ability to quickly learn and master new app analytics platforms and community management tools
