The Role


Job Summary & Responsibilities:

The Growth Marketing Coordinator (full-time, hourly, regular) will support the Growth Marketing Strategy Team in the tactical execution of all fully integrated marketing strategies and plans for shows, campaigns, promotions, and key partnerships to aggressively grow the subscriber base for MotorTrend’s streaming video service and other important digital initiatives. The ideal candidate must be a highly collaborative, proactive, self-starter able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Essential duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:


  • Support Growth Marketing Strategy Team in the coordination and execution of marketing tactics and projects – writing briefs, coordinating creative projects, trafficking assets, generating and delivering tracking codes/links, delivering and archiving collateral, event coordination and staffing, invoice process and budget tracking, reports, and other marketing tasks as needed.
  • Assist in coordinating the development, delivery, and trafficking of best-in-class creative materials working with both internal and external partners including digital advertising creative, print materials, video trailers and/or television commercials, event collateral, and content marketing pieces.
  • Research, prepare, and present competitive analysis reports.
  • Develop post-mortem recap reports on campaigns and creative performance.
  • Partner with the Growth Marketing Strategy Team Members to coordinate and attend events to execute onsite activations meant to drive subscribers.


Supervisory Responsibility:

  • This position will not include supervising one or more employees where applicable.

  

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, or Communications
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing for digital consumer products, services, or apps ideally for an entertainment brand
  • Experience with subscription services and SVOD products a plus
  • Passion for and/or experience for cars or automotive entertainment a plus

 Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Ability to support a fast-paced marketing team with a variety of marketing projects and needs
  • Proactive personality suited to handle responsibility, leadership and deadlines under pressure
  • Experience working with established brands
  • Highly Detailed and Organized
  • Excellent communications (oral and written) skills
  • Excellent people skills – relationship building, impeccable communication, collaboration, patience and tact 
  • Exceptional time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects with changing priorities
  • Extremely resourceful with strong problem-solving/troubleshooting skills
  • Adept at collaborating with multiple team members across internal and third-party
  • Experience in carefully disseminating information across multiple teams
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Keynote, with experience building decks and presentations


Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to sit for prolonged period of time and view computer screen
  • Must be able to attend events which may require working nights and weekends and/or traveling
