HelloTech is a leading provider of online and onsite tech support throughout the United States, employing an on-demand and innovative sourcing model. We are hiring a Growth Manager who will directly aid the Chief Growth Officer in implementing our marketing vision, with a deep focus on customer and user acquisition, activation, retention, and upsell. You'll cross-functionally work with engineering, design, product management, and operations to design and execute growth initiatives.

The Growth Manager’s job has three core components: first, to help define the company’s growth plan, second, to coordinate and execute growth programs, and third, to optimize the revenue funnel.

Data is the fuel of our growth initiatives. You will help create and manage the infrastructure that enables analysis of user behavior, scientific experimentation, and targeted promotions.

Knowledge of Google Analytics is essential, along with familiarity with A/B testing tools like Optimizely. You are conversant with data analysis and the best tools for retrieving, manipulating, and visualizing data.

You will help continue to answer two core questions. First, at which layers of the funnel should growth initiatives be focused? For instance, should resources go to user acquisition or to combatting churn? Second, you'll help quantify and understand progress against goals. This task is accomplished through the selection of KPIs, and the development of reports on these metrics for consumption across HelloTech. You will constantly aim to understand the impact of a change if it is successful; establish a level of confidence that a test will yield a successful result; the cost to execute a test.

You will provide customer insight, by blending data with a deep understanding of user needs, habits, and perceptions developed through interviews, usability studies, and customer feedback. The Growth Manager will utilize data to answer questions such as why are users dropping out of the signup experience? Why aren’t users responding to special offers? 

Fluency in statistical reasoning is expected along with the ability to design effective experiments. A quantitative intuition for interpreting user experience data is necessary.

You are familiar with the full spectrum of acquisition channels at our disposal.

1) Owned Media: Email, Facebook, Craigslist, Twitter, Pinterest, Apps 
2) Paid: Ads (Mobile, Web, Video, TV, Radio, SEM, Affiliate), Sponsorships 
3) Earned Media: SEO, PR, Word of Mouth

You should be creative, a strategic thinker, and have the ability to lead without direct authority as you align market-facing functions to a shared growth objective through dotted-lined relationships.
