Responsibilities

Global Marketing Strategy Lead About TikTok: Our mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy. We have global offices including Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Dubai, Mumbai, Singapore, Jakarta, Seoul, and Tokyo. About the role: Build and lead the Global Marketing Strategy team at TikTok, a critical team within the Global Business Marketing organization. Key Roles & Responsibilities: • Maintain and build on the team vision and drive plans and deliverables for 2020 and beyond. Deliver ongoing objectives, KPIs and materials that drive success of the team. • Effectively build, lead and guide a dynamic group of leaders across platform, product and owned assets • Operate in close partnership with key leaders across the Global Business Marketing team to ensure that together, we deliver against shared goals • Operate in partnership with regional business marketing strategy teams, providing recommendations, co-partnership and opportunities for us to deliver seamlessly • Lead efforts for ongoing global positioning for the platform and product, including narratives, best practices collateral and other key materials to be leveraged and customized by regional teams. • Ensure development and execution of global case studies • Create and recommend independent, innovative projects that build our business marketing brand, including ideas around video • Be a creative thinker, strategic leader and flawless executor who is focused on delivering real business impact. • Show up as a culture carrier and builder for the team and company. Provide inspiration internally and externally within a fast-paced startup company • Frequent travel to New York and as necessary to Beijing required

Qualifications

Requirements: • 20+ years experience in consumer/tech, including significant time spent in global roles • Proven track record of delivering creative and effective marketing strategy efforts • Experience with the use of analytics tools and ROI metrics • Experience in building, executing and measuring data-driven marketing programs across online and traditional channels • Innovative marketing leader with a broad, diverse marketing background • Experience leading large, dynamic teams across multiple offices • Established industry speaker
