Events Coordinator Intern
Description
Laserfiche is looking for a motivated events enthusiast who wants to gain real-world experience in corporate events. The paid Events Intern will play a support role in various types of event production, in events such as user groups and regional training. In return, they will gain exposure to different aspects of events, from planning and promotion to execution, and the fun that comes with it.
Responsibilities Include:
- Offsite Training Events – help research potential venues and vendors for training and user events, create cost-analysis and comparisons, keeping track of event deadlines such as shipping, final counts, etc
- Onsite Training Events -- Set-up, coordination, and teardown of in-house training events, including catering, name badges, giveaway bags, etc
- Annual Empower Conference – coordinate select onsite conference activities, review special meal requirements, other tasks as needed
- Event Promotion and Marketing – help coordinate and schedule email blasts to promote training and user events
What You'll Need:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (applicants may be asked to complete a short writing exercise during the interview)
- Keen interest in a career on event planning
- Highly organized and attentive to details
- Passionate, curious and always eager to learn something new
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Able to meet deadlines and budget goals
- Microsoft Office Suite Fluency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
