Looking for a dynamic individual with a builder mindset and incredible media relations skills to join the fast growing team at Bird. Based in Amsterdam but reporting into a U.S.-based team,, this individual will be a thought partner for the EMEA leadership team and will together develop and execute media launch strategies pertaining to specific European-cities. This individual will ideally be multi-lingual, posses deep experience working for international companies and have at least 10 years of direct related experience. He/she will also be able to successfully operate independently as well as within a team to meet the needs of a fast-growing and dynamic company.
What You'll Do
- Manage inbound and out bound communications specific to geography
- Partner closely with regional General Managers and public affairs teams on all communications activities
- Craft and execute strategy pertaining to city launches; travel to support relevant launches and events
- Develop and execute executive communications programs and thought leadership campaigns
- Coordinate and manage awards and speaking programs
- Prepare / train spokespeople for media interviews and presentations
- Build and maintain relationships with a diverse set of media - local, business, teach and consumer
- Manage in market communications agencies
