The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day, hands-on execution of e-maill marketing programs in support of marketing and sales objectives. This includes ownership of the setup, maintenance, and review of all e-mail campaigns as well as recurring and triggered email communications. Additionally, the Email Marketing Specialist maintains a current understanding of email marketing best practices and applies them to the execution of our email campaigns.

LIFE OF AN EMAIL MARKETING SPECIALIST

• Coordinating e-mail marketing activities, developing marketing campaigns, managing the translation of marketing materials, and building everlasting service to our members

• Building email, email campaigns, list management, quality assurance of all outbound campaigns, in close collaboration with the business development & brand marketing team

• Performs day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, tagging and deployment, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns

• Reports on all aspects of email marketing campaigns and interprets analytics to provide insights

• Troubleshoots technical issues related to content, audience segmentation and other aspects of email execution, as required

• Stays in touch with email marketing best practices through competitive landscape analysis and industry trends to recommend new marketing strategies

TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU’LL NEED

• 2 years experience with CRM systems. Experience with Intercom is a major advantage

• Strong understanding of HTML and CSS preferable

• Experience utilizing Google Analytics and UTM tagging parameters

• Experience in A/B testing

• Experience using e-mail delivery tools

• Demonstrated passion for email marketing

• Ability to work independently with minimal direction, while also functioning and contributing as part of a team

• Attention to detail a must

• Proactive, energetic personality; inquiring, investigative mind

• Demonstrated ability and desire to learn quickly
