Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with executives to develop and drive external communications plans that strategically position Atomic Capital in the marketplace

Lead branding, PR strategy, messaging and overall media planning and constantly thinking about how to add value through new and additional services.

Serve as a key media contact and actively work to enhance and cultivate relationships with the media, particularly within top tier financial and business press, leading trade publications, media outlets, and podcasts, and facilitate media interviews with the company’s executives.

Develop story ideas, pitch angles, and media strategies to meet Atomic Capital’s objectives and drive news coverage of the company.

Be confident and creative in writing, capable of crafting everything from executive messaging to customer facing newsletters, press releases and everything in between.

Proactively pitch stories that position Atomic Capital executives as experts.

Prepare Atomic Capital executives for media interviews and speaking engagements by creating detailed briefing books (including key messages and talking points) and providing refresher media training as appropriate, as well as facilitating and coordinating more in-depth media training for spokespeople when required.

Manage budgets and timelines.

Managing overall progress and KPIs on accounts and reporting to company executives.

Qualifications:

5-8 years of experience in an inhouse and/or agency setting, used to working in a fast paced and ever changing environment. Experience working at or with an agency is preferred.

Real engagement in the discourse around blockchain, technology, entrepreneurship, finance and capital raising. You are interested in leveraging blockchain’s potential as a catalyst for social, environmental, and economic change in our society.

Comfortable with a high level of ambiguity and a minimal amount of direction.
Focused on execution, not just talking about doing the work. You must be able to shift focus quickly and have a strong sense of judgment about balancing your priorities.

Proven attention to detail through prior work or life experience.

You must have very high expectations of yourself but also not take yourself too seriously.

Be comfortable engaging with every level of the organization - from a billionaire investor down to a receptionist, you must have an egalitarian approach and treat everyone with the same level of respect.

Conceptual and strategic thinker with the ability to balance innovative approaches with business objectives.
