Summary of Role: 

WORLDZ is on the hunt for a passionate, data-driven head of growth & marketing to join our world class team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating the world of tomorrow and is resourceful and forward-thinking. This leader will be responsible for all customer acquisition, conversion & retention efforts. Most importantly, s/he will be one of the senior leaders of the company expected to contribute on an executive level to WORLDZ vision and future success.

This leadership position requires a mix of visionary and strategic thinking with a tenacious cross-functional top performer mentality to deploy growth tactics to grow our membership. It also requires a thorough understanding of data analytics and using data to derive target audience insights. 

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute initiatives focused on martech strategies to build our community while optimizing retention of existing members through data-driven initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to define crucial customer segments and build out look-a-likes and determine LTV / CPA targets for new member acquisition across media channels.
  • Scope and implement new strategies across media channels to drive member acquisition, awareness, and revenue.
  • Report and present to the executive team on critical technologies while acting as WORLDZ point person for all data driven acquisition initiatives.
  • Drive end-to-end marketing strategy and execution with help from marketing team
  • Partner with key stakeholders of media buying channels to ensure correct targeting of high value prospects.
  • Seek out creative channels and partnerships to grow awareness & membership 
  • Continually monitor and track data analytics to optimize and prioritize optimal revenue growth opportunities.

Knowledge, Skills, Ability:

  • Bachelors or Masters in related field (Economics, Business, Marketing, Math) with equivalent work experience in customer acquisition, digital media buying, and scaling marketing strategies
  • 5+ years in related field. Demonstrated prior event/conference marketing experience encompassing paid audience acquisition and expertise is a MAJOR PLUS
  • Strong knowledge of media marketing channels (digital, mass media, offline) as well as traditional marketing channels included but not limited to: Public Relations, Influencer Marketing, Grassroots Efforts, etc. 
  • Hands on experience with Salesforce, ESP's, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and any other related platforms
  • Strong analytical experience required. Ability to derive crucial insights from past and current data scenarios with the purpose of incorporating into current and future marketing strategies
  • Experience leading cross functional teams to translate business needs into data requirements
  • Strong track record of setting and achieving metric driven goals
  • Familiarity with youth culture trends and influences for Gen Y + Z
  • Proven ability to manage and execute on multiple projects effectively within deadlines and manage time and priorities effectively within a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organization and project management skills
