About the Role 

Reporting to the Director of CRM and Web Marketing, this role will assist with all outbound marketing and member communications. Additionally, this role will leverage email, SMS, and other communication tools to convert prospects into members, educate and engage existing members, and reactivate lapsed members. Initial projects will include daily campaign deployments, A/B testing and optimizations, analysis and reporting development, and more.

What You'll Do

  • Ownership: You will be a key stakeholder of the email and SMS program, including lead capture and new member conversion. You will develop goals, metrics and tests, and manage against these weekly and monthly.  
  • Program development: Coordinate with other marketing team members and departments around planning, messaging, artwork and copywriting to develop high-engagement and high-conversion campaigns. 
  • Operations: Assist with email and SMS operations including creating, coding, testing, reporting, and more. 
  • Collaboration: Liaise with multiple team members, including marketing, product, regulatory, underwriting, legal and sales. Identify issues, develop solutions and execute design projects that balance input from all sides. 
  • Management: Manage multiple projects, track status and coordinate deliverable dates to ensure that all projects are completed on time. 
  • Evolution: Assist the team in identifying CRM opportunities in testing, processes, optimizations, tools, and technologies

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years experience executing outbound communications, including email for an online, ecommerce, tech or startup company. 
  • Interest in and knowledge of email and SMS as marketing mediums. You care about the messaging and how to utilize these channels best to educate and convert users. 
  • Knowledge and proficiency in HTML/CSS. 
  • Data-driven. You leverage data and metrics to make decisions and to identify opportunities. 
  • Experience with creative tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. a plus  
  • Detail-oriented, strong follow-through, productivity-focused, extremely organized. 
  • Self-starter. Comfort with autonomy and oriented towards results.
  • A strong interest in the Sidecar Health mission: making health insurance affordable and great care accessible to everyone in the US.
