At PatientPop, we believe healthcare providers should focus their attention on delivering quality care to patients. That's why we devised a solution that allows providers to build a thriving practice, without being tied down by the burdens of business growth.

We've helped thousands of providers since our founding in 2014. Along the way, we cultivated an incredible work environment — one of the best, according to Great Place to Work.

Our dedicated team brings a blend of experiences that drives innovation and customer success. Our development-focused culture allows employees to thrive personally and professionally. And our bustling (dog-friendly!) offices are in an enviable location: just two blocks from the beach and around the corner from 3rd Street Promenade.

Now, we want you to be a part of it all.

How you will contribute:

The PatientPop Marketing Team is looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to help spread awareness of the PatientPop practice growth solution.

The Content Marketing Specialist will be an integral member of the Marketing Content Team, and will be the primary owner of PatientPop social media accounts. Additionally, the Content Marketing Specialist will have the opportunity to create many types of high-quality written content (blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, video and podcast scripts, etc.) to support marketing activities that generate qualified leads for our Sales Team.

The PatientPop Marketing Team has proven success creating reliable, scalable sources of revenue for our company. The team is comprised of individuals with many years of B2B marketing experience, so there are plenty of opportunities to learn from seasoned professionals and improve marketing skills. Members of the Marketing Team consistently presented with new challenges they must solve, making this role ideal for a self-starter who loves a good challenge.

Skills you’ll bring:

  • At least 2 years of experience in content creation and social media management role.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills as well as high attention to detail.
  • Excellent understanding and execution of AP Style guidelines.
  • Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
  • Experience using social media and social media management tools (Hootsuite).
  • Passion for digital marketing tactics, trends, and best practices.
  • Experience using content management systems (Wordpress), project management tools (Basecamp), and Salesforce.
  • Strong interest in healthcare and healthcare technology. Experience writing about healthcare or medical topics a plus.

Why you're important to us:

The Content Marketing Specialist researches, writes, and edits quality blog posts, whitepapers (eBooks), webinar scripts, and other written content as assigned. You help the Marketing Team brainstorm content topics and themes, and actively participate in marketing and content team meetings.

Additionally, the Content Marketing Specialist manages PatientPop social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Google+), and grows audience following and drive engagement for PatientPop social media channels. The Content Marketing Specialist reports on important social media metrics and how they impact overall marketing efforts, seeks out opportunities for PatientPop to engage with non-followers, and responds to public engagement (such as comments) and private messages on PatientPop social media.

In your first 90 days you will:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the PatientPop solution and the company’s target audiences.
  • Learn the types of content and sources our prospects and customers find credible and interesting.
  • Write and schedule content for social media.
  • Develop and implement a new PatientPop social media strategy, and communicate the new strategy to other PatientPop employees who contribute to social media.
  • Connect with the Demand Generation program managers and the events manager to effectively promote webinars and attendance at tradeshow events.
  • Demonstrate improvements in PatientPop social media following and engagement.
  • Regularly write non-social media content, and help brainstorm content topics and themes.

Note: Candidates considered for this position will be asked to complete a writing assignment, which must be completed and delivered within three business days of receipt.
