Content Marketing Specialist
We are looking for a prolific and talented creator to write and produce various types of marketing content. This includes blog posts, articles, white papers, ebooks, infographics, guides, social media posts, web copy, and more. The goal is to expand our company’s digital footprint, awareness, subscribers, and leads. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills. The Content Marketing Specialist reports to the Sr. Product Marketing Manager.
The job of the Content Marketing Specialist is three-fold:
Create content that our prospects and customers actually want to consume.
Share out content on the channels that they use.
Measure the results of content marketing activities.

Responsibilities:
Grow our accounting subscriber base by providing them with regular, helpful content that’s aligned with their needs and interests;
Create 1–2 free resources each month to drive leads, subscribers, awareness, and/or other important metrics (examples include ebooks, white papers, infographics, guides, templates, etc.);
Blog on a weekly basis to support and promote our offerings and to attract site visitors through search, social media, and email subscribers. Coordinate and edit the work of our pool of contract writers;
Collaborate with designers, product marketers, sales professionals, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience;

Requirements:
BA/BS degree and 3-5 years of work experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge and understanding of accounting desired
Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience
Mindset that seeks to understand what our audiences consume and how to create it
Experience with WordPress and the top social media channels
Ability to craft exceptional content consistent with our brand voice, style, and tone
Basic understanding of SEO and ability to craft engaging content that is also optimized for search engines
Ability to manage an editorial calendar and the work of creative resources including designers, writers, speakers, and other personnel. Must be able to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads and sales.
A dual-minded approach: You’re highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions. Measurement and optimization of the program will be required on a regular and ongoing basis.
Nice to Have:
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop and InDesign)
