Position Overview:

The right content can be the difference between standing by or standing out from the crowd. It can position a company as an industry leader vs. a follower. We are seeking a creative storyteller with a passion for art and/or interiors to take our content marketing strategy to the next level. The content marketing manager will be responsible for driving all facets of KBFA’s marketing content strategy and execution. Key responsibilities include formulating editorial calendar and delivering on assets used across a wide range of initiatives including lead generation, lead nurturing, brand awareness, social engagement and thought leadership. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail and strong communication and project management skills.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as “editor-in-chief” for KBFA collateral and assets used to drive wide range of marketing initiatives and sales engagements
  • Establish workflow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing and retiring content
  • Manage third-party resources including copy writers, graphic designers, photographers, videographers, etc.
  • Manage the documentation process of high visibility projects from initial production to final photography
  • Own and maintain internal Digital Asset Management system
  • Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to produce relevant content that articulates KBFA’s benefits and meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience(s)
  • Work closely with VP of Marketing on all creative and branding initiatives to ensure a consistent message across channels
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing Manager to create and execute strategies for various campaigns including nurture, content syndication, and one-off initiatives
  • Develop and implement social content strategy
  • In partnership with sales and art consultants, identify and create content needed for all phases of the project lifecycle
  • Support other marketing initiatives as needs arise

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing or creative content management role
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent working experience
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and knowledge of producing compelling content across multiple mediums/channels
  • Experience in managing content development process
  • A dual-minded approach: highly creative and an excellent writer but also process-driven, think scale and rely on data to make decisions
  • Independent operator with a self-starter attitude who can own projects from start to finish
  • Excellent copy writing skills, grammar and spelling
  • A sense of humor and the ability to have fun
