TikTok has global offices including Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Dubai, Mumbai, Singapore, Jakarta, Seoul, and Tokyo. We are looking for a dynamic leader to join our Global Communications team as Communications Manager, Community & Inclusion. This role will help to tell compelling narratives around the brand campaigns, activations, partnerships, and projects that demonstrate the positive impact that TikTok is making in the world. Examples include campaigns to recognize diverse communities on TikTok, media relations efforts to show that TikTok is an inclusive community, stories about TikTok social contributions, and employee activations in the marketplace. TikTok is a diverse, inclusive, and vibrant community and this role is about showing why that comes about and what it means to the community as a whole. - Collaborate closely with external partners, serving as the TikTok PR brand steward in collaborative strategy development and execution of communications and social media plans - Assess the newsworthiness and local or global impact of the initiative and determine level of brand synergy and PR support - Ensure that campaigns and initiatives are communicated to relevant markets, identify comms impact in other markets, and highlight and drive cross-market PR synergy accordingly - Provide guidance on communications materials and processes for partners, creators, partners - Understand with conversations in culture pertaining to D&I and community impact - Work with PR agency on development of media materials, media lists, and other elements to fuel successful storytelling and results

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or above in related field - 4 to 6 years experience in product or consumer communication - Experience in day-to-day media relations and/or agency background a plus - Strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills - Exceptional listening, problem-solving, and verbal and written communications skills - Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and adapting quickly and flexibly to change - Passion for storytelling, people, and TikTok
