About the Role
As StartEngine’s Client Marketing Manager, you will help ambitious entrepreneurs get one step closer to building the businesses of their dreams. You will manage large Facebook advertising budgets on behalf of CEOs, and build funnels that enable them to pitch their companies, engage prospective investors and customers, and convert their followers into investors. You will analyze and develop marketing strategies that work best for their company and industry, and report on the results from your advertising campaigns.

What You'll Do
- Create marketing strategies for founders & CEOs. You will collaborate with companies to develop strategic marketing plans that will cut through the clutter and effectively drive traffic to their campaign pages.
- Manage large advertising budgets. You will build and optimize Facebook, Google and LinkedIn ad campaigns on behalf of the companies.
- Create and optimize landing pages. Every company will have different marketing needs, and some will require landing page creation and optimization. Whether you outsource and oversee the creation or build them yourself, landing page optimization is a big part of this role.
- Build investor funnels. Create customer journeys and integrate these funnels with ads, landing pages, and emails.
- Build a list of resources. We don't expect you to do it all on your own. Build a list of design and content resources to help get your job done.
- Analyze and test your own work. You will scrutinize and obsess over weekly metrics to inform your next strategic proposal.
Who We're Looking For
- 1-3 years marketing, advertising, or agency experience. (You know how to help a client).
- 1-3 years managing mid- to high-level spend social media ad campaigns. (You know your way around Facebook’s ad jungle).
- A deep understanding of analytics tracking with Google Analytics and/or Facebook Business. (You know your pixels).
- Proficiency in Photoshop or other design tools. (You know how to resize a photo for an ad).
- Ability to create and optimize landing pages. (You have a passion for funnel-building).
- Metrics driven. (You like A/B testing).
- Organized and process-driven. (You can keep track of many projects at once).
- Ability to problem solve and work in a fast-paced environment. (We are a startup, you need to be able to be flexible and adapt to new challenges every day).
- Detail oriented and experience with managing acquisition campaigns on digital ad platforms (Facebook, Google Ads, etc.)
- Experience with and interest in creating funnels for sales and marketing teams, including conversion tracking and optimization
- Experience with Wordpress and design implementation for landing pages
- Extremely curious and interested in all things marketing and optimization
- Demonstrated desire for continuous learning, growth and improvement
- Copywriting acumen
- Well-versed in Excel, specifically with Pivot Tables and other basic functions
- Proficient with building presentations in PowerPoint or Keynote
- Ability to make basic edits visuals assets i.e. images and videos
- Comfortable with interfacing with a wide range of client personalities
