As Marketing Manager, you’ll be part of a collaborative global team that is building the fastest-growing, most-exciting live event technology company on the planet. As one of Tixr’s earliest marketing hires, you’ll report directly to the Vice President of Marketing as the team’s resident digital marketing resource. You’ll wear a variety of hats to build internal digital marketing fluency, define Tixr’s current and future digital marketing offerings, and help clients leverage our tools to drive revenue.


While this can be a hybrid or remote role, we’ll want you to visit HQ office as much as you can, especially in the early days, so you can establish relationships and get answers efficiently. This is an exciting position that will make a huge impact on our trajectory as a company. 

What you’ll own:

  • Defining the vision, messaging, and positioning for the Tixr marketing offering, including digital marketing services
  • Producing sales materials that articulate the unique value and benefits the Tixr marketing offering provides
  • Developing and implementing client marketing campaigns and initiatives that drive engagement, product adoption, and loyalty
  • Building digital marketing fluency across the business to support clients more efficiently
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, advising on digital marketing strategy, and providing proactive recommendations for paid and owned channels
  • Supplementing Client Success with reactive marketing support and troubleshooting
  • Authoring best practice guides, educational content, case studies, and thought-leadership pieces for our knowledge base, blog, and PR efforts
  • ​​Staying up-to-date on the latest digital marketing trends and technologies and sharing learnings with clients to encourage optimization and experimentation
  • Identifying new opportunities to drive ticket sales and fan engagement
  • Owning and building relationships with new and existing syndication partners
  • Informing the product roadmap to integrate high-performing marketing tools and channels
  • Establishing, tracking, and maintaining KPIs on both internal and client marketing activities and their impact
  • Supporting social marketing and Tixr.com curation efforts

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing or a client-facing digital marketing consulting role at an agency, a live events technology or eCommerce company, or a live events promoter
  • Advanced understanding of digital marketing tactics and technologies, including email marketing, social media marketing, content marketing, SEO, PPC, and web analytics
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns
  • Born problem-solver who keeps composure under pressure in a client-facing capacity
  • Strong analytical skills; confident interpreting data and making data-driven decisions
  • Thrives in a high-growth environment without a ton of structure, where change is the norm 
  • A marketing universalist who can pinch-hit and take on new challenges wearing lots of hats
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Working knowledge of business software tools and marketing/design technology: Slack, G-Suite, Notion, Figma, CRM (Copper/Hubspot), MailChimp, Google Analytics, among others
  • Enjoys building relationships and working with a close-knit team
  • Proactive, highly organized, and willing to step up when duty calls. Nothing’s beneath you. 
  • Collaborative and open to feedback
  • Working knowledge of business software tools and marketing/design technology: Slack, G-Suite, Notion, Figma, CRM (Copper/Hubspot), MailChimp, Google Analytics, among others

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range $80,000-$120,000 + bonus + equity
