Role:
As an Associate Product Marketing Manager, you will help drive LegalZoom’s growth by shaping product vision and consumer perception across our product portfolio. You will collaborate with cross-functional departments to design, develop, launch, and grow our services and customer base. You are creative, analytical, and detail-oriented with strong communication, relationship building and project management skills. You have an understanding of and experience with marketing, product marketing, digital marketing, product management, sales enablement, and creative campaign management (writing creative briefs and managing project work). You are the kind of person who is eager to roll up your sleeves, jump in, ask questions, add value, and help the teams you work with achieve great results.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Product Marketing team with a focus on assessing and managing the creation of assets needed to drive the marketing of our services as well as our partners’ services
  • Create positioning and messaging for consumer and small business products/services that resonate with prospective customers and helps drive growth
  • Write creative briefs and manage workflow for assets (landers, emails, collateral, ads, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain sales collateral to support sales teams with a focus on acquisition sales
  • Drive go-to-market launches, announcements, and campaigns programs, as needed
  • Analyze competitive landscape as needed within the organization
  • Assist in the creation of customer touchpoint maps, documenting all the communication touchpoints (phone, email, SMS, etc) that a customer experiences for a set of given products/services
  • Influence product strategy, testing, research and content
  • Contribute to market research projects to better understand the market and gather intelligence to help inform product decisions and messaging
  • Surface product opportunities and challenges
  • Support product briefing, exploration, design, and partnership
  • Work with Marketing, Product Management, UX/Creative, Sales, Customer Care, Training & Shared Services, PR, Engineering, Legal and Business Development to ensure a great customer experience

Knowledge & Skills:

  • 2+ years of Product Marketing or other directly transferable marketing experience
  • Experience with nationwide campaigns, communications and go-to-market initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience working closely with product managers and sales teams
  • Exposure to product strategy, design and development principles and processes
  • Ability to apply user insights, research and testing to marketing strategy
  • Accustomed to working with product, creative, sales, legal, finance, operations, customer service and quality assurance teams
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or higher degree/relevant certificate a plus
