Summary:

We're seeking a strong and talented Ad Operations Lead to join our Advertising Partnerships team. Working with the Head of Advertising Partnerships and other major stakeholders, you will build and lead the ad operations efforts for Quibi. You will be the subject matter expert for all post-sales efforts. We are looking for someone to develop and own the ad operations function in a fast-moving, highly collaborative, start-up environment.

This is a "doer" position, as we need someone with strong experience who is prepared to create an ad operations process and team from the ground up. We're looking for someone with a proven track record of building high-performing teams and delivering superior execution and excellent customer service. The ability to automate as much of the ad operations workflow as possible is critical as is experience with a variety of ad tech solutions, vendors, and measurement providers.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Build Quibi's Ad Operations team from the ground up
  • Lead, develop and implement Ad Operations processes, systems and best practices
  • Build, manage, train and develop the Ad Operations team with a strong focus on motivating and retaining talent
  • Ensure flawless execution of trafficking, delivery, reporting, billing, and overall campaign management
  • Collaborate with Account Management and Sales teams to ensure superior customer service
  • Work closely with the ad product and engineering teams to define advertising products from the ground up and to provide feedback on campaigns and our ad platform
  • Serve as the primary point of escalation for troubleshooting and resolving campaign delivery issues and requests related to advertising tracking, tagging, attribution, ad serving, data and reporting
  • Manage all Ad Operations vendor relationships - this includes communicating platform capabilities and limitations to internal stakeholders, assessing our current vendor relationships and more

What You'll Need:

  • 7+ years in client-facing Ad Operations
  • 5+ years management experience
  • 2+ years in the programmatic ecosystem
  • Demonstrable experience building ad operations systems from the ground up and automating as much of the workflow as possible
  • Record of success in building and leading high-performing teams
  • Mobile app and video serving/attribution experience is critical
  • Understanding of and experience working with a variety of stakeholders in the ad tech space, including ad verification providers, third party measurement solutions, etc.
  • Technical advertising background with the ability to communicate with Product Management, Engineering, and Research/Development teams on a technical level
  • Prior experience servicing advertisers in environments where brand safety is of paramount importance
  • Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter; a team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate and results driven individual
  • Creative problem solver
  • Basic programming/scripting skills a plus
