HopSkipDrive is a mission-driven company that makes life easier for busy families by getting kids where they need to go safely and dependably. We match families with highly-vetted CareDrivers, who have a minimum of 5 years of childcare experience and must pass a mom-approved, rigorous 15-point certification process, which includes extensive background checks, fingerprinting, DMV checks, driver training, and meeting every single driver in person.
We were founded by 3 working moms who have 8 kids among them and developed HopSkipDrive as a solution to their own problems getting kids where they needed to go. We are a VC-backed company with investment and involvement from nearly every major LA investor including Upfront Ventures, Greycroft and Pritzker, with more than $20M in funding.

As the Acquisition Marketing Manager, you will manage the strategy, execution, and optimization of digital acquisition (of HopSkipDrive consumers and CareDrivers) initiatives across various channels including, but not limited to: Google search, Facebook marketing, Apple Search, etc. The manager will analyze data and develop strategies to maximize the performance of each campaign in order to achieve download and sign-up goals. This individual must also be able to continuously research, identify, and test new digital marketing channels to improve efficiency. You will work very closely with our Lifecycle Marketing Manager and report directly to the VP of Growth.
What you'll do
- Own the entire acquisition funnel from building awareness to downloads to signups and manage the acquisition marketing budget
- Manage and optimize all acquisition campaigns across digital channels, including: Facebook, Adwords, programmatic, video, etc. Offline tactics may be used as well (if proven to be ROI positive)
- Create, test & optimize new channels and offers to improve efficiency by leveraging data and analytics tools to understand and optimize campaigns.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and identify opportunities to grow and gain market share
- Provide daily, weekly & monthly reports to monitor and adjust campaigns in order to maximize growth. Work with Business Intelligence team on larger projects and independently when necessary to provide updates for executive team and department meetings.
- Own and optimize key metrics including click through rates, conversion rates, cost per install, cost per lead and cost per acquisition.
Who you are

- At least 5 years in digital marketing with a minimum 2 year demonstrated success in acquisition/performance marketing
- Hands-on experience in buying media on Facebook and Adwords platform required
- Data-driven decision mentality and sound business judgment through deep analytical thinking
- Results-driven marketer with exceptional knowledge around metrics, specifically A/B testing, KPI tracking and ROI analysis
- Experience in online analytics via Google Analytics and conversion tracking required; marketing attribution experience a PLUS
- Bachelor’s degree required
