Account Director
Overview/Purpose
As a CitizenNet Account Director, you are a senior member of the client services team, leading the way in providing first class service to clients while acting as a strategic, consultative partner that will help them achieve goals and drive more revenue. You will also act a liaison between client services and the Condé Nast Spire and CitizenNet product team, who are continuously building innovative, paid social technology based on market and advertiser needs. Your mission is to first and foremost become a trusted partner for your client while ensuring both client retention and revenue growth. You will also manage and develop an account team to work as key players in client relations and driving results.
Primary Responsibilities
Client Development and Partnerships
Develop clients into partners, earning their trust through dedicated service and strong decision making
Identify and propose growth opportunities for clients through media plans and proposals
Manage senior client communications across your portfolio and oversee your team’s external communications
Build relationships with decision makers to influence growth and keep value of CitizenNet top of mind
Lead key client meetings including Quarterly Business Reviews and present highly actionable, insightful material
Develop close relationships with contacts at social media companies to help drive continued client success
Account Team Management
Oversee ongoing account performance and client satisfaction
Oversee team in the creation and execution of paid social campaigns and reports
Lead by example for your resources and help mold them into the best possible employees
Identify growth areas for your account team and work with management to create paths that lead them to success
Team
Participate in product conversations and provide feedback that will increase team efficiency and effectiveness
Work in a collaborative environment where insights, recommendations, and ideas are welcome
Contribute to the growth and success of your colleagues company-wide
As a contributor to employee success and culture, participate in new employee onboarding and training
Desired Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with strong client communication and management skills who are excited about technology, data analysis, social media, and advertising. Candidates must be motivated to succeed in a fast-paced team environment. A willingness to adopt new technologies and trends is extremely important for this position.
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS degree
3+ years in account management in digital advertising and paid social
2+ years experience in digital ad operations with emphasis on paid social and data analysis
Expertise in MS Excel and Powerpoint required
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organization skills
Ability to multi-task and manage projects
Strong communication skills and a dedicated team player
Experience with SQL, Python and data management platforms a plus
