Web Administrator

Help us launch hundreds of websites every month! You will primarily be working with internal teams to launch and support client websites, improve process efficiency, and grow the Site Launch team.

Lead Responsibilities:

  • Manage team members and goals
  • Support internal automation tooling as needed (python / jenkins / bash)
  • Identify and execute on opportunities to improve efficiency through automation scripting and process improvement.

Team Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Hosted Zones for Client Website Launches
  • Migrate client email
  • Build and deploy client websites
  • Configure domain redirects
  • Triage and troubleshoot domain and email related issues

Requirements:

  • Leadership experience
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong knowledge of DNS, HTTPS
  • Scripting experience with python, bash, or php (1+ Years)
  • Practical experience troubleshooting DNS issues
  • Familiar with Apache and virtual hosts
  • Comfortable working in shell/terminal
  • Ability to quickly research relevant materials regarding new issues as they arise
  • Even more comfortable working in the heart of Santa Monica

Nice-To-Haves:

  • Desire to pursue a career in DevOps
  • Familiarity with Chef, Amazon Route53, and EC2
  • Experience with major registrars (e.g. GoDaddy, Namecheap, HostGator, etc.)
