The Junior Graphic Designer supports all pre-sale and in-campaign creative, crafting and executing the strategic design of client and campaign projects to ensure the most compelling visuals, icons and graphics populate content driving deal-winning and successful campaign performance. This team member reports to the Senior Graphic Designer within the Marketing department.
What you’ll do:
- Embrace each client project – understand their identity and campaign goals to craft and execute rich designs to which the target audience will respond, in order to drive successful performance
- Own all visualization initiatives; including but not limited to: branded visual “buttons” and assets, photo treatment and editing, campaign content, publisher site mocks and templates and proposal assembly
- Maintain Nativo’s own brand guidelines and visual voice across all internal and external resources
- Research, explore and communicate best practices in Design; communicate these during Content Performance Report meetings, and support in packaging or crafting collateral as appropriate
- Identify efficiency opportunities within the design process and cross-functional workflow to always maintain deadlines; support all internal platform adoption and maintenance, including Slack, Freckle and Salesforce
- Set the standard for attention to detail, strictly observing QA processes to make sure all output is of the highest quality level
- Be prepared and on time for the work day and meetings, maintaining all deadlines and carefully monitoring, managing and communicating around incoming project requests or even informal asks warranting deliverables; keep team members informed and up to date on projects
- Be proactive in getting feedback on designs
- Maintain positive morale, encouraging a healthy and supportive work environment
What you need:
- 1-2 years’ work experience REQUIRED, agency experience a plus
- Quick self-learner, expert at multi-tasking, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with frequent, tight deadlines
- Experience with PowerPoint, Keynote
- Super user of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (experience with After Effects, CSS, HTML a plus)
- Strong sense of iconography and concise visual depictions of concepts or ideas
- Enthusiasm and interest in marketing and advertising; for each project will work to understand brand identity and guidelines, goals and target audience to drive an engaging and cohesive brand experience through design
- Superior project management skills, can prioritize and organize tasks to meet deadlines; pristine attention to detail
- Can work within client Brand Guidelines, while also displaying a unique point of view and contribution
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to translate conceptual ideas from creative direction or briefs into engaging visual presentations and design solutions
- Motivated and passionate about design and technology
- Enjoys working both collaboratively, and with autonomy
- Effective problem-solver and solutions-oriented
- Avid consumer of digital content and social media
- Experience with Salesforce a plus
