IT Help Desk Generalist (Temporary Assignment)
This position is for a temporary engagement through our staffing partner Yoh Services.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as point of contact for technical assistance within Naughty Dog (both software and hardware)
- Perform remote and local troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques
- Follow up with users and see problems through to resolution
- Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support
- Building workstations in-house
- Organizing and cataloging the IT hardware
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software for users
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
Requirements & Skills:
- Proven working experience in providing help desk support
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 7, 8 and 10 (this is a must)
- Strong understanding of building PCs
Bonus Skills:
- Operating Systems: Linux and Mac OS X (any flavor)
- Languages: Python, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, SQL
- Software: Perforce, Wireshark, Sublime Text, Chrome, Windows AD administration Tools
- Familiar with Sony PlayStation 4 hardware and software interfaces and peripherals
